Zaxbys restaurant hours: common questions
Are drive-thru hours the same as dining room hours?
Not always. Some stores keep the drive-thru open after the dining room closes, so check both times on your store’s page.
Do all Zaxbys restaurants keep the same hours?
No. Zaxbys restaurants are mostly franchise-owned and set their own hours. Use the official store locator or the app for your store’s exact times.
What time does Zaxbys open?
Zaxbys is a lunch and dinner restaurant, so most stores open in the late morning rather than early for breakfast. The exact opening time is set by each restaurant. If you are heading out before lunch, check the store’s page first, because a store that opens later than its neighbor is common. Wondering about breakfast? See does Zaxbys serve breakfast.
What time does Zaxbys close?
Zaxbys closing time varies by location and day. Many stores stay open later on Friday and Saturday, and some keep the drive-thru open after the dining room closes. If you are ordering close to closing time, order ahead in the app so the kitchen has your order before it starts shutting down.
Is Zaxbys open now?
To see if a Zaxbys is open right now, open the store’s page in the official Zaxbys app or the locator on zaxbys.com. It shows today’s hours for that exact restaurant. Search maps can also show “open now”, but they are not always updated when a store changes its hours, so the official page is the safer check.
Late-night hours: Late-Night Zax
Some participating restaurants have tested later hours under the name Late-Night Zax since June 2025, with a “pick three” Zappetizer Trio sold after 8 PM. It was still described as a pilot in early 2026, so not every store takes part. Check your store’s hours to see how late it stays open.
