Zaxbys Wing Flavors and Wings Menu (2026)

Zaxbys wing flavors come down to two choices: boneless or traditional bone-in wings, and which sauce or dry rub goes on them. This guide covers every flavor in the official guide, how hot each one is, and which wing meal fits your appetite.

Quick answers

What is the difference between boneless and traditional wings?
Boneless wings are breaded pieces of chicken with no bone. Traditional wings are classic bone-in wings. Both are sold in fives and tossed in the sauce you pick.
Which Zaxbys wing sauce is the hottest?
Nuclear is the hottest sauce on the menu. Tongue Torch and Buffalo Garlic Blaze sit just below it.
What comes in a wing meal?
The Boneless and Traditional Wings Meals come with crinkle fries, Texas toast and coleslaw. Wings & Things adds 3 Chicken Fingerz to five wings.

Zaxbys boneless wings vs traditional wings

The biggest choice with Zaxbys wings is the style. Boneless wings are breaded bites of chicken, easy to eat in the car and good for dipping. Traditional wings are bone-in wings with the skin on, and they hold sauce in a different way, with more crispy edges and more meat to pick at.

The official guide shows a real difference in allergens between the two. Five plain traditional wings list none of the listed allergens, while five plain boneless wings list Wheat, Gluten because of the breading. Once you add a sauce, the sauce’s own allergens join the list. If you avoid wheat or gluten, this is worth knowing before you order. The allergen menu can hide everything that does not fit your needs.

On calories, five plain boneless wings come to 360 calories and five plain traditional wings come to 380. The gap between them is small, so pick the style you enjoy more and let the sauce and sides decide the rest.

The Zaxbys wing menu: meals and how to choose

If you want a full plate, pick a meal instead of wings on their own. Here is the simple way to think about it:

  • Boneless Wings Meal or Traditional Wings Meal if you only want wings, with fries, Texas toast and coleslaw on the side.
  • Wings & Things if you can’t choose between wings and Fingerz. It pairs five wings with 3 Chicken Fingerz and the usual sides, so it is the biggest single meal in this group.
  • Five wings, no sides if you are adding wings to a shared order or keeping it light.

Calories in the meal rows below leave out the drink, so add your drink from the drinks menu if you are counting.

They are boneless pieces of breaded chicken rather than bone-in wing sections. If you want classic wings, order traditional.

Can I get two sauces on one order of wings?

Each wing order is tossed in one sauce. Many people order an extra dipping cup to try a second flavor. Ask your restaurant what it allows.

Are Zaxbys traditional wings gluten free?

In the official guide, five plain traditional wings list no wheat or gluten, but some sauces do, and food is cooked on shared equipment. Read our gluten-free guide before ordering.

Can I put a dry rub on wings?

Yes. Lemon Pepper, Garlic Parmesan and Nashville Hot dry rubs became permanent in February 2026. See the dry rubs guide.

Which wing meal has the most food?

Wings & Things, because it combines five wings with 3 Chicken Fingerz and the full set of sides.

Does Zaxbys have wings?
