Discontinued Zaxbys menu items: wraps, tacos, Philly and more

Zaxbys wraps, chicken finger tacos and the Chicken Philly all ran for a limited time and are now discontinued Zaxbys menu items. Here is what each item was, when it ran, and whether it might come back in 2026 or later.

Not on the regular menu. The Giant Chicken Finger Wraps ran from April 27 to July 5, 2026, and a Chicken Bacon Ranch wrap meal was part of the summer 2026 menu. Check the app for your restaurant.

Not right now. Chicken Finger Tacos launched in 2024 and last returned from September 8 to November 2, 2025.

How Zaxbys limited-time items work

Most items people remember from Zaxbys were never meant to stay. Zaxbys runs limited-time offers for a few weeks or months, then rotates them out. Some come back the next year; others disappear for good. The best test of whether something is on the regular menu is the official Zaxbys Nutrition & Allergen Guide. The current version, revised November 2025, lists none of the items on this page as regular menu items.

Zaxbys wraps: Giant Chicken Finger Wraps (2026)

The most recent wraps were the Giant Chicken Finger Wraps. Nation’s Restaurant News reported that they ran nationwide from April 27 to July 5, 2026, in three flavors:

  • Chicken Bacon Ranch
  • Buffalo Blue
  • Asian Zensation, which first appeared with the Asian Zensation menu in October 2025

A Chicken Bacon Ranch wrap meal was also part of the summer 2026 Chicken Bacon Ranch menu, which had no published end date. Some restaurants may still have it, so the app is the place to check. Because the wraps were limited-time items, Zaxbys did not add them to the regular nutrition guide, so we do not show wrap calories here.

Will the wraps come back?

Nothing has been announced. Zaxbys has brought back other limited-time items more than once, so a return is possible, but we won’t guess at dates.

Zaxbys tacos: Chicken Finger Tacos

Chicken Finger Tacos put pieces of Chicken Fingerz in tortillas with toppings and sauce. They launched in 2024, and QSR Magazine reported they returned for a limited time from September 8 to November 2, 2025. They are not in the November 2025 guide and were not part of any 2026 announcement we found.

The tacos have already come back once, which makes them a reasonable candidate for another return. Until Zaxbys announces one, treat them as unavailable.

Zaxbys Surf and Turf and shrimp

ZaxSeas Surf & Turf paired Chicken Fingerz with Southern Fried Shrimp. QSR Magazine reported it as a new item on March 3, 2025, alongside returning Southern Fried Shrimp and a new Buffalo Shrimp, all through the end of April 2025.

Shrimp came back again in January 2026, according to a Zaxbys press release, but the release did not name Surf & Turf. See our Southern Fried Shrimp page for the latest.

Chicken Philly sandwiches

The Chicken Philly (fried or grilled chicken with cheese and peppers on a hoagie-style roll) first launched in 2023. QSR Magazine reported it returned for a limited time in January 2025. Great 8 Boneless Wings Meal

The Great 8 Boneless Wings Meal was a value meal with eight boneless wings, Texas toast, crinkle fries, ranch and a drink. QSR Magazine covered it as a limited-time deal, most likely in autumn 2021 (we could not confirm the exact date). It is not on the current menu. The regular Boneless Wings Meal is the closest thing you can order now.

Mac and cheese, chicken biscuits and breakfast

People often search for Zaxbys mac and cheese and Zaxbys chicken biscuits. We could not find a reliable source showing either one was ever a regular Zaxbys menu item, and neither is in the official guide. The only breakfast news we found is a 2011 Nation’s Restaurant News report that Zaxbys was exploring breakfast tests. Zaxbys does not serve breakfast today; see does Zaxbys serve breakfast?

Other discontinued Zaxbys menu items

A December 2023 roundup by Mashed (a secondary source) listed other items that left the menu over the years. We have not confirmed these against an official Zaxbys source, so treat them as background:

  • Zaxbys Club sandwich (replaced in 2022)
  • Chicken Caesar Zalad, brownies and a side salad (around 2021)
  • Blackened Blue Zalad (2021)
  • Onion rings and spicy fried mushrooms (2019)

We found no reliable source for Zaxbys ice cream or soup as menu items. Milkshakes are a different story: they returned permanently in May 2025 after a seven-year break, as Nation’s Restaurant News reported. See Zaxbys milkshakes and desserts.

How to check if an item is back

  1. Open the official Zaxbys app or zaxbys.com and choose your restaurant. The menu there is what that store sells today.
  2. Look for new items in the latest official nutrition guide.
  3. Check our menu updates page, where we add returns with the date and source.
