Zaxbys Veterans Day deals in recent years were reported as a free chicken sandwich in the app for rewards members. Here is what was reported for 2023 to 2025, what we know about 2026, and how to check before you go.
Key takeaways
- As of late October 2026, Zaxbys has not announced a 2026 Veterans Day offer. Check the app on the day; we will update this post if an offer is confirmed.
- Deal coverage reported a free Signature or Spicy Signature Sandwich for Zax Rewardz members on Veterans Day in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
- Those offers were reported as app-only, one per account and at participating restaurants. We found no official Zaxbys announcement for them.
- If there is no deal this year, Zax Rewardz points and app offers are the most reliable ways to save.
Does Zaxbys do a Veterans Day deal in 2026?
As of late October 2026, Zaxbys has not announced a 2026 Veterans Day offer.
Veterans Day falls on Wednesday, November 11, 2026. Many restaurant chains announce their deals only a few days before, and some Zaxbys offers have appeared only inside the app on the day itself. So “no announcement yet” does not mean “no deal”. We will update this post if an offer is confirmed.
What Zaxbys offered on Veterans Day in past years
We could not find an official Zaxbys press release for any recent Veterans Day. What we have comes from deal coverage, so treat it as reported rather than confirmed:
- 2025: A Slickdeals post from November 11, 2025 reported a free chicken sandwich, redeemed as a Signature Sandwich, for Zax Rewardz members in the app. Commenters said any account holder could claim it, without proof of service.
- 2024: A Slickdeals post dated November 11, 2024 described a free Signature or Spicy Signature Sandwich (sandwich only) for rewards members through the app.
- 2023: Military.com listed the same kind of offer for November 11, 2023: one free Signature or Spicy Signature Sandwich per account, at participating restaurants, while supplies lasted.
The pattern is consistent: an app-only reward, not a free meal handed out at the counter for showing a military ID.
What is the Signature Sandwich?
The Zaxbys Signature Sandwich is a fried chicken breast sandwich with Zax Sauce. The Spicy Signature is the same sandwich with Spicy Zax Sauce. In the official guide the sandwich alone is 600 calories with Zax Sauce and 590 calories with Spicy Zax Sauce.
- Signature Sandwich: Fried chicken fillet on a toasted bun with Zax Sauce or Spicy Zax Sauce. Sandwich only. 590–600 calories; allergens: milk, egg, wheat, soy, sesame, msg, gluten; example price $10.69.
How to check the Zaxbys Veterans Day deal
- Download the official app and sign in to (or create) a Zax Rewardz account before November 11. In past years the offer appeared in the app’s rewards or offers section.
- Open the app on the morning of November 11 and look for a Veterans Day reward.
- Choose your restaurant. Past offers were “at participating locations”, so availability can differ by store.
- If you don’t see it, ask the restaurant. Some franchise owners run their own local promotions.
Ordering and redeeming happen in the official app or at zaxbys.com. We are an independent guide and can’t apply offers.
Do you need a military ID?
For the reported app offers, no ID was needed: the reward was attached to the rewards account. If a restaurant runs an in-store Veterans Day offer, chains usually ask for some proof of service, such as a military or VA ID card, a DD-214, or a veteran designation on a driver’s license. That is a general pattern, not a Zaxbys rule. Ask your restaurant what it accepts.
Other ways to save at Zaxbys

Is there a Zaxbys Veterans Day menu?
No special menu has been reported. Past offers used an item from the regular menu, the Signature Sandwich. Everything else on the Zaxbys menu was sold at normal prices.
